Amniotic Stem Cell Therapy

What is amnion (amniotic fluid/cell)?

Amniotic cells/fluid is the fluid surrounding a fetus during gestation and at birth, and provides over 83 known growth factors that stimulate and support growth, and healing, including hyaluronic acid, which is very similar in composition to joint fluid.

Where does it come from?

Amnion is obtained from the amniotic fluid and amniotic membrane of pregnant mothers, collected safely during C-sections, then sterilized and cryopreserved for later use.

What conditions does amnion treat?

Amnion has over 83 growth factors (more than PRP), so it can treat tendon or ligament problems, but is probably best suited for osteoarthritis given its similar composition to hyaluronic acid (joint fluid).
