Mike Nicholas

Mike Nicholas, PA-C

Mike is a native Texan who grew up in Plano. He received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC, and his Physician Assistant degree from Midwestern University Medical School in Glendale, Arizona.
Mike has worked in orthopedics for over twelve years, and has extensive experience in treating a wide range of patients from professional athletes to those requiring joint replacements. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a current member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mike Currently lives in Southlake with his wife and three young boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, running and mountain biking.

Brandi Jones

Brandi Jones, PA-C

Brandi grew up along the Mississippi River. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS before going on to earn her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from South College in Knoxville, TN.

She brings several years of Orthopedic experience to Direct Orthopedic Care. She is knowledgeable in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries in both surgical and outpatient settings. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a variety of orthopedic issues including, but not limited to fractures, sprains/strains, overuse syndromes, and joint degeneration. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, Bailey, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Robert E. Bayless, MD

Dr. Bayless offers treatments and the latest surgical techniques in treating damage caused by arthritis and injuries suffered to the bones, ligaments, muscles, and joints. He enjoys working individually with each of his patients to find the best options to living healthy and active.

Board certified for over 21 years as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Bayless has provided Irving Texas and surrounding communities with a high level of orthopedic and sports medicine care. He provides medical coverage for the MacArthur and Nimitz High School athletic teams.

Byung J. Lee, MD

Dr. Lee is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the care of disorders of the hand and upper extremity. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the operative and non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions to Irving. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Lee’s research interests have led to numerous peer reviewed publications and presentations at national meetings.

Dr. Lee’s expertise in the operative and non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions, draws patients from around the Irving Texas area including Southlake and the Midcity communities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, and Arlington.

John C. Miliani, MD

Dr. Milani is board certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 1982 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1984. Dr. Milani has been in private practice in Dallas since 1984. His practice specializes in conservative and surgical treatment of all types of back and neck injuries and illnesses.

He has served as Chief of Spinal Cord Injuries at Dallas Rehabilitation Institute and HealthSouth Medical Center. Dr. Milani also served as Medical Director of the Dallas Spinal Rehabilitation Pain Management Program and is currently a staff spinal surgeon at Pine Creek Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Milani’s expertise in the operative and non-operative treatment of spine and neck conditions, draws patients from around the Irving Texas area including Southlake and the Midcity communities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, and Arlington.

Yong T. Pak, MD

  • Fellowship: San Francisco bay area at Integrated Pain Management (associated with John Muir Medical Center)
  • Residency: Baylor University Medical Center

Dr. Pak is a fellowship trained – pain management physician. He completed both his internship and his fellowship in Texas, where he has been practicing with Irving Orthopedic Sports Medicine. His training allows him to treat both acute aspects of pain as well as chronic pain. Dr. Pak is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is well- trained to perform multiple pain management procedures. These include epidural steroid injections and facet injections in the entire spine. He also does electromyographies and nerve conduction studies.

Dr. Pak has hospital affiliation with multiple facilities in the Irving, Texas area and is on staff at these facilities. His primary affiliations include Baylor Medical Center at Irving and Baylor Irving-Coppell Surgical Hospital and serves patients from the Southlake and the Midcity communities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, and Arlington.

Steven B. Sanders, MD

As a board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Sanders not only specializes in complex and revision total joint replacement; he also has special interests in sports medicine and arthroscopy, cartilage transplantation, and viscosupplementation as a non-invasive treatment for arthritis in the knee. Besides the Irving area, Dr. Sanders treats patients form the Southlake and the Midcity communities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, and Arlington.

Recently, Dr. Sanders was featured in D Magazine as “Dallas’ best doctors”. He is a member of professional organizations including Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Texas Orthopedic Association, Texas Medical Association, and is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Jaytinder S. Sandhu, DPM

Dr. Sandhu is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon. While treating all aspects of foot and ankle ailments, he specializes in adult reconstructive surgery here in Irving. Dr. Sandhu teaches and is active in research in the field of foot and ankle surgery. He enjoys lecture at local and national meetings and his research is published in peer reviewed professional journals.

Dr. Sandhu’s expertise in the operative and non-operative care of foot and ankle discorders, draws patients from around the Irving Texas area including Southlake and the Midcity communities of Grapevine, Colleyville, Keller, and Arlington.
